President Akufo-Addo has cleared the Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng of any wrongdoing in what has become the cash for a presidential seat scandal.

The president noted that the information available to him on the one hundred thousand dollar reserved-seat scandal does not support the claim of wrongdoing.

"The facts, as reported to the president, do not disclose any wrongdoing on the part of the Minister or any government official,”

A statement from Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid on Thursday 21st December asked the Minister of Trade to put the actual fact in the public domain.
