Police in Accra have promised a handsome reward for any individual who volunteers information leading to the arrest of Patrick Kwaku, a 25-year-old man who stole GHS30,000 from his employer.

The suspect stole the money from his boss, a trader at Ofankor Timber Market, after he was asked to deposit the money in his employer’s bank account.

The Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur, said on Friday May 19 that the Amasaman District Court has issued a warrant for his arrest.

The police explained that the suspect is five feet two inches tall, dark in complexion, stoutly built, has medium eyes, and small ears. He was last seen in an ash T-shirt over a white pair of trousers at Timber Market on May 11, 2017.

He is suspected to be hiding in Koforidua, Kumasi, Cape Coast, or Accra.

The police indicated that anyone with information about his whereabouts can report to the Achimota Mile 7 Police or the nearest police station or call MTN and Vodafone short code 18555.
